Micro-penning and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) – blood is taken by an expert IV nurse and centrifuged onsite to form a liquid called PRP. This is the patient’s own platelet rich plasma. The PRP is placed on the skin and gently micro-penned into the dermis at depths of 1-3mm depending upon the need and tolerance of the patient. Topical anesthetic is used to reduced discomfort to almost zero. The skin will be lightly reddened for about 24 hours and healing is very rapid. This will smooth skin tones, reduce pigments, reduce scarring, and reduce fine lines. The effects last for months and permanent changes are possible with multiple treatments.
Why MicroPen Application?
- Skin revitalization
- Reduction in lines, wrinkles, etc.
- Reduction of scarring
- Cosmetic topical treatments
Epidermal Growth FactorHelps with regular cell growth, proliferation and differentiation during remodeling phase. It stimulates keratinocyte and fibroblast production.
Transforming Growth FactorPromotes angiogenesis (the physiological process involving the growth of new blood vessels).
Vascular Endothelial Growth FactorImportant protein that involves vasculogenesis & angiogenesis (growth of blood vessels from pre-existing vasculature.
Fibroblast Growth FactorPromotes angiogenesis, granulation & epithelialization for the self-healing skin process after injury.
Platelet-Derived Growth FactorAttracts macrophages & fibroblasts to zone of injury. It promotes collagen growth and proteoglycan synthesis.
Collagen Stimulating Growth FactorStimulates granulocyte & macrophage proliferation for growth of healthy tissue and blood cells.
PRP can help and repair damaged tissues in various cells. It can directly enhance wound healing and generate new skin.
Blood-Derived Growth Factors
The internal essence of your blood contains life-giving fundamental protein growth factors. PRP utilizes a leading-edge patented technology that is specifically designed for a simple and quick process. High concentrated of biological nutrient-rich cells and autologous platelet-rich plasma is created.
- Practitioner draws a similar amount of blood required for a basic
- The blood is placed into a centrifuge and spins the blood at a very rapid rate to separate the platelets from other components of the blood.
- PRP is activated to release essential growth factors and signaling proteins. No risk of allergic reaction or intolerance due from all constitutes retrieved are exclusively from the patient.
