The Benefits of Microneedling

A Season for Change

September typically marks a season for change: the kids go back to school, cooler nights begin to surface, and the arrival of football and tailgating is celebrated. We begin to crave warmer comfort foods and prepare our hearts for holiday season. With this season the sun becomes less intense, and it’s a good time to evaluate the damage done to our faces by the summer sun. One procedure I personally look forward to every September is Microneedling with PRP. Microneedling is affordable, effective and requires minimal downtime.

Benefits of Microneedling

Microneedling uses 12 sterile points across the face. The feeling is similar to light sandpaper and very tolerable with topical numbing cream. The skin is light reddened immediately post procedure and most clients report an immediate glow to their skin. Positive effects are a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles as well as a reduction to hyperpigmentation, dark-spots and acne scars.

Cost

Our cost is $395 per treatment. For maintenance of youthful skin, it is recommended at least once a year. I personally have the procedure done twice a year: in fall and in spring. Many people need 2-3 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. Mention this blog post to receive $50 off your first treatment.

In person consultations are always free!
